Men, how do you stack up?

From the speed dating thread. if you meet each point on a given line, you can tick the box for the line. if you fail any one in a line, you should leave the box unchecked.

um...."has a dog"

This all sounds very skewed either towards the Swiss or the Phil_MCRers

Re: Men, how do you stack up?

I dont understand how "has a boat on Lake Zurich" is in the same option as "has a dog" - and PS: this should have been a public poll.

likes to talk at the end of the day
affectionate
friendly and outgoing ( a scale of 0 to 10)
child friendly
women friendly
actually LIKES women and enjoys their company

except for the boat and dark hair (tanned skin we can manage in the summer) it's my husband. And we have two dogs. Sorry, he's not available though.

Re: Men, how do you stack up?

5'8"?! I don't date men who are shorter than me.

Chalet and boat optional though, as is the dog. That should buy an extra few inches, no? Inches in height, before anyone gets any funny ideas...

how is it skewed towards me? i don't have a dog besides, they are not my conditions, they're lisa's. unless you're trying to say she's skewing the results towards me... i think the only one i've missed out is 'a little bit arrogant'. i figured if someone checks all the boxes, then they've earned the right to be a little bit arrogant

You got that wrong. That's a description of my female best friend

Where did the "kills bears bare handed" "has a large knife" "uhm...sits on the can" "sings in the shower" "protects" "quiet and charismatic" "chops the fire wood with one hand" "can gut a fish in 30secs" "understands technology, fixes my pc, light fixtures...." "cayacs, canoes and hunts" "owns at least one sling shot and a bbgun" "pyromaniac" "likes to get hands oily in the garage" "fixes my sewing machines" go?

Oh yeah, and "plays at least one noisy instrument"...

Re: Men, how do you stack up?

I score a lowly 4 or 5. Luckily, I already have a partner who obviously isn't so fussy.

Re: Men, how do you stack up?

I don't think my expectations are unrealistic, all I want is a hybrid of all the good sides of Indiana Jones, Bruce Wayne, James Bond and McGyver, with Jack's food knowledge and skill thrown in. Simple, really!

The frustrating thing - such persons exist, I've met one or two, but they are always married and never faithful...
