How does the dictionary help? A grammar book is the answer. Look up "conjugation of verbs". Why is it 3rd person singular- "Wasn't it?"? (Remember to insert the apostrophe for negation!).
Mmmm, then it will read, "Wasn't it just saying we should keep it English?" In this sense you are using 'it' as the noun, 'it' would then have to be written with a capital 'I'. Angela-74 was using, "...you...." to refer to Mirfield. She is correct, "Weren't you just saying.....?"
Mirfield is not an 'It'.
Seen from another perspective: "Were you not just saying......" NOT "Was you not just saying......." |

Take the post above yours and take great offence to it. Pick a small detail and exaggerate your disgust.
Lets get the aggression out in this thread and stop it cropping up elsewhere on the forum.
Needless to say there is no need to bad rep anything written here and personal insults are probably a bad idea.
Lets get this show on the road. | | | | | Seriously, Planthead, I like you a lot but these constant threads which contribute so little to the Forum other than crass, adolescent and almost Troll like themes need to stop. You should know better.
Thank you.
