And this is why it was important to me to find a partner who doesn't care about a bit of body hair. I swear, if women were as fussy about this sort of thing as men, men still wouldn't bother to groom themselves as much as we have to. To be socially acceptable, women have to make sure that they're always hair free everwhere (it's quite a large surface area you have to shave/wax/epilate etc). Men can go several days without shaving, then all they have is the bottom third of their face to de-fuzz. Not really equal, is it? Just one of the many, many reasons it sucks to be female!

For me this is a pure pleasure. I really like to be smooth and nicely smelling. And not just for a date or other special occasion

I guess it's feasible for the occasional date. But if a guy expected this level of upkeep in a relationship, I'd ask him to contribute to the cost of a beautician. Seriously.
