Post here if you need a cat sitter in Basel, Zurich, Geneva, Lausanne etc.. or are willing to sit for others. Sometimes you just need to escape for a weekend, so a cat hotel really isn't ideal.

if anyone needs a reliable cat sitter (Zurich area, but he may cover other places too...) , I wholeheartedly recommend Joseph. He's been looking after our bundle of fur&fat a few times and he's the first person I always get in touch after I booked my travels.

There is a Basel cat sitting network on Yahoo groups, but since we now have this functionality on the forum I thought it might be a good idea to set something up here too.

I live in the Wettstein quarter of Basel and am happy to do the odd bit of cat sitting (weekends and evenings).

Re: Basel cat yahoo group - yep, I set that up about a year ago but it only ended up with about 4 of us regularly sitting for each other, so widening it out here is a good plan!

I have 2 cats and am just up from the Gundeli in the Bruderholz. Very happy to exchange cat sitting with others as my two hate going into a cattery.

I am gonna try this again and this time state that we are willing to pay someone to help us out with our cat from the 8th to the 23rd of May. We are in Zurich Oerlikon. This would not be a daily requirement, but rather every other day while we are gone. Buster is a loving and friendly cat that just needs someone to give him some attention while we are gone! If you can help or know anyone who can, we would really appreciate it!!
