Curtain Tracks for Bay Window?

Hi all, I had a good trawl but couldn't seem to find anything similar - so I thought I'd ask the good people of EF for their advice.

I'm looking to get some net curtains/voile for the bay window in my living room, but the window is curved - I've been told its possible to buy a plastic/vinyl curtain track that you can bend to fit curves etc. but this was in the UK.

Does anyone know if this is true? If so, would anyone know the name in German? (I have nightmares imagining trying to explain that one to the local Obi minion).

Any other suggestions?

Cheers

Re: Curtain Tracks for Bay Window?

Although I hate to say it, IKEA has the easiest I could find to solve the same problem. But I have since seen Interio has track with curved sweeps for the corners also.

You're looking for Gardinenschiene,
and here's an example of the corner piece:

Good luck!

Thanks JV, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised Ikea is usually the answer to all my problems

This may sound stupid, but would the corner piece work if the entire window is curved? I'm assuming you buy a straight piece and two corner pieces and you're sorted - not sure if its the case with my [annoying] window.

Yes thats right... but I don't understand your question you mean you have a semicircular window perhaps?
In that case you would need some flexible plastic, I don't think they have that at IKEA but I think I saw it at Interio (Volketswil)

Yes - that's the word: semicircular. Sorry, brain meltdown today...

I'll have a look in Interio and the local Obi - just needed to know it exist so they don't look at me like I'm mad.
