Oven Question
 

So we are moving out next week and on the sheet of things needed to be cleaned or replaced is the oven liner. You know the metal bit that lays at the bottom of the oven that is a PIA to clean cause it catches all the drips. Anyone know where I can buy a replacement? It's a V-Zug oven in case you were wondering...

are you renting through a small private rental or a faceless larger one? Often they will have replacements which are economical to replace.

Also.....be careful as the handover person will be very critical in the process of checking everything.

It's midsize company who are located next door to us.

This is move #5 so I'm prepared for the white glove test ;)
Just need this blasted metal bit.

I lived in a place like this and could get "economical" replacements.

The oven trays were actually cleaned with the nuclear-powered cleaning stuff from the cleaning company....

I justed called V-Zug and bit the bullet. They'll be sending me 5 of these, although 1 is needed. Still cheaper than buying 1 at the local harware store- 1 for the same price as 5. I'll at least have some on hand for future moves.:D

I am sure I saw these at Migros City (lewenplatz) - they had a section dedicated to the 'standard' fittings in the institutional type apartments, like the soap dishes, bathroom cups, oven trays etc.

Gooner- I saw them today at Migros for 7.90 for 5- way less than what I just paid for V-Zug to send them to me.

Maybe a good future reference for someone else looking to replace their oven liner.....
