I stay in a 3 OG zimmer with 2 other people and occupy one room in it.. planning to bring my mum here for about a month or 2 and accommodate her in my room itself .. will that be a problem?

I don't know what the rules are here but my when I lived in London for a while I was supposed to announce the landlord anybody who'd be visiting me for more than 3 weeks.

I guess that if each of your flatmates agree that your mum is going to stay for so long, i can't see any reason why the agency would mind that.

I don't deny that. But you'd be hard up to find an agent who, on being told:

"we just got married, we've moved in together and are looking for another place, is that OK? By the way we're interested in one you're advertising here..."

...would simply show you the door and tell you "piss-off".
