How much can one expect to pay for a single room in Switzerland? All I can find on Google are one bedroom apartments. Don't they do house sharing over there?

depends where you are, it can go from 500 to 2500 ish. look on homegate.ch or immostreet.ch tons of info

House sharing is very uncommon as +-80 % lives in appartments

lots of house sharing... you can expect to pay up to CHF1000 for something moderate to good, with exceptional expectations for anything over CHF1000.
