I am thinking of buying an apartment in Geneva that has only 1 bedroom
but a massive lounge that the agent assures me can be easily converted into a
couple of bedrooms.

Not wishing to take this advice at face value does anyone have any advice on
who I should be contacting in order to know if this is the case and what the procedures would be in Geneva for doing this type or work? Presumably I can't simply decide to erect a false wall myself and partition off the space.
