Excuse me if this sounds like a silly question, but I thought it was worth a try...
has anyone heard of a rental/home-finding agency in Zurich, with a name that sounds something like 'Matterdienst'....??? I met someone yesterday who told me these people helped her find a flat within two weeks. I thought I'd remember the name, then by the time I got home I'd forgotten it...d'oh.

I googled Matterdienst but it's not right.

Apologies if agency names are covered somewhere else on the forum, I have searched but didn't find an appropriate thread.

A tip from someone whose memory and/or spelling isn't what it was -
Had you Googled 'mat*dienst' you would have found it!

I tried Mata Dienst four years ago when I first came to Zurich, and I did not find them helpful at all. And if you are looking for a flat in Zurich city that will be available in June (we are moving out of ours), please let me know via a PM. Thank you.

I read some of the other posts on Mata Dienst and it doesn't look like they've had too good a review overall.
Unfortunately I have to move out of my current place by March 31st so I think June would be a bit late, but thank you for the kind offer.
