Re: Getting rid of old furniture

Hi All,

I have four leftover trash coupons for Zurich for 2012. If you have a need for them before the end of the year, let me know by PM with your address and I'll drop 1-4 in the mail. Each coupon is good for 100 kg of waste.

are there any charities that will come to one's home to pick up furniture? e.g. Salvation Army?
Only if in very good condition, no bad staining, tears, etc. In the UK they won't take anything which has not got up-to-date non flammable labels- not sure in CH.

Re: Getting rid of old furniture

There are many 'troc' shops that will take the furniture and sell it for you - take 30% and pass on the rest. Again, only furniture and objects, deco, etc, in fairly good condition.
