I just read an
article in french, about the Vernier's Tanks
A study that was made, in february, states the tanks are an acceptable risk for the population.
It says that if they were going to explode, due to a leak of oil, there could have a loss of 10 % of human life in a 90 metres area. That would do 450 deads in the most optimistic scenario...
A magistrate of Vernier, in charge of the problem will ask that Petrostock, the owner of the tanks, cease its activities there.
It's up now to the cantonal authorities....
