Can anyone recommend someone who can repair furniture in Montreaux, vevey area ?.

Im moving out of my place and the bottom leg/side of a wardrobe has been damaged by water and the landlady wants to chuck it out which means its going to cost so id like to look into somebody who can repair.

Visit the second hand furniture shops and buy a similar one.

Would love to but first Im pretty sure I would not find the same item, and the landlady is a nutcase so im sure she would want a new wardrode despite the fact that the wardrobe in question is fine. its just the wood on the bottom left corner got wet and is not dry so you see a mark/dryness on the outside.

realistically where do I stand since the wardrobe is still useable but know the water damage was from me. If she wanted a new wardrobe is there anything I can do ?

Do you have insurance? You could claim on the 3rd party policy.

Where did the water come from? If the house is damp then it is not your fault or problem. Have you joined the Protection des locataires? (Mieterschutzverein or Tenants protection society)
