sourcing wood to make a swing set

Hi All
Not sure if this is the right forum but am sure that it will be moved if not

We inherited an old wooden swing set when we bought our house - two swings and a slide with the whole structure made from wood. We loveit, the kids love it but unfortunately due to its age and use the wood needs replacing. My husband is pretty handy and wants to rebuild the frame himself but we cannot find the wood.

He has been to Landi and Hornbach but couldn't see what he wants-

Does anyone have any suggestions or leads? I can find the kits online which include the swings and slide but as we already have those we were hoping not to have to spend 1000chf. The kids are 4 and 6 so we want to be realsitic that they may only play on them for a few more years and really don't want to go down the metal route.

hoping someone has some words of wisdom

Caz

Have you tried UHU, they sell swing sets in various combinations so may just sell the wood.

Migros DIY, Coop Heim & Hobby, nearly all big diy supermarkets sell wood.

Re: sourcing wood to make a swing set

I sent him back with a message to try harder and this time he found what he needed at Hornbach - It was simply a man look instead of a girlie look.

So thanks to all - we are sorted now.
