vintage furniture restoration

I have a vintage leather armchair from the sixties, that unfortunately has broken. The base of the chair is bent and probably will have to be replaced. Would anyone know an atelier or person that could handle this? I am trying the usual suspects, like Bogen33 , but is being difficult to get an answer.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Lucy

Re: vintage furniture restoration

Hi, we just went through this! We just gave John Cole our '60s sofa for restoration and recovering. We expect it back in a few weeks.

Re: vintage furniture restoration

Thanks a million for your help.

How much was the damage, if it is not too much to ask?

We just needed the springs replaced. The frame seemed fine. He said that he would have no problem repairing that type of thing.

Re: vintage furniture restoration

FYI we've gotten our couch back and are very pleased with the work.
