Can any EF members 'recommend' a cleaner?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a cleaner and have posted the request in the appropriate thread.

HOWEVER this thread is specifically for someone who already has cleaner in the Zurich area, who maybe looking for a little bit more work.

It's always nicer to receive someone via recommendation, than interview random people.

This is a long shot I know, but feel free to PM me with your recommendations or any questions you may have.

Thanks

OK,
The position has been filled, however I think this may still be a very useful thread to help others narrow down their search for a cleaner.

Remember to check the date of the post you before you contact the potential cleaner (some threads can run for years).

Last edited by TidakApa; 30.05.2011 at 15:13. Reason: so nobody PM's me with more suggestions for cleaners, but keep the thread open.

Yes,
and as you know, tinnies are much bigger in Europe than in Australia so there is quite a mess.

Thanks DB,
I'll shoot her an email........ perhaps poorly phrased after the Lovedoctors suggestion.

Mate,
If I had a proper "Missus" would I have posted this thread????

However, if the one I employ is single, has her own teeth, her own boat and motor, can back a trailer and gut fish...... I know a stack of blokes at home who'd be interested in her.

(not mine, btw)

The Old girls cleaning days are over.
I am acting the "Parental role" at the moment - hence needing the help.

If the cleaner I do employ doesn't work out or tries to rip me off, I'll keep Leon's number on speed dial.
(I assume he prefers 'cash' - unmarked, non-sequential bills)

Re: Can any EF members 'recommend' a cleaner?

I can stongly reccomend this company www.zuericlean.ch

I had been let down by another cleaning/moving company, so called this one at short notice. Arranged to inspect my flat within 1-2 days and price quoted was as competitive as all the other quotes I recieved.

They were there at hand-over, and the landlord was satisfied with the job they had done, and there were no issues with the Protokol

The guy that runs it, Intizar, is very friendly and speaks good English.

Re: Can any EF members 'recommend' a cleaner?

I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND this member... If she hadn't moved out of the city, I would have her come regularly to my (new) flat. She was thorough, really nice, and just did a fantastic job. She did mention that if she had enough business to come back into the city for (ie-your flat in the am, mine in the pm), she would definitely consider doing so. Maybe we should talk to her about it? Let me know...

Re: Can any EF members 'recommend' a cleaner?

So far there are just three recommendations here? One of those is Zuerichclean which is a bit expensive (CHF 45 per hour). One of those appears to be Canadian (so I have doubts about work permit ).

Does anyone else have any cleaner that they can recommend? Looking for someone legit on the Horgen side of the lake in Zurich for regular cleaning.

Re: Can any EF members 'recommend' a cleaner?

I can now recommend this member's cleaner. She has posted many times about her (so all you need to do is PM her and she will get back to you very quickly). She comes regularly to our house (once every two weeks) and does an excellent job. And she is still looking for more work.

HTH.

Re: Can any EF members 'recommend' a cleaner?

If you can not find anyone on the forum, I can recommend http://www.putzfrau.ch I now have my second cleaner through them (because I moved - too far away to keep the other one) and I have been very happy with both of them. Both are reliable, thourough and fast, and can even do the ironing, or water plants when you are on holiday. For the basic (cleaning) service I pay 35 CHF/HR
