I was with Vision. They tried to bill me for cleaning, cleaning was included in the contract. They tried to bill me for cleansing as I was smoking in the apartment, I argued that smoking was not forbidden in the contract and that any 'residue' should have been dealt with by contractual bi-weekly cleaning. They tried all sorts of other claims (for a new chair that had a biro mark on it) etc etc. I just stood my ground and told them I would be forced to address my grievances with my employer (one of their biggest customers) and they backed down.

Leave it as you found it.
Pay for any damage/breakages.
