Cleaning Methods for blinds???

Need help ASAP to know how to clean in a simple and best way...the Window blinds...any specific solutions, materials, etc.,???? suggestions are welcome.

I unhook them and take them down to the car wash.

A garden hose? That'll do if you live in your own house but not if you live in an apartment block and on the 6th floor ...

No, honest, it's a pain in the butt to do them so you might as well take a day or two off and simply clean them with a normal cleaning product and some good music plugged into your ears.

If they are just dusty then get something like this:



I haven't looked but am fairly certain it can be found here (Switzerland has great hardware stores), or Amazon have them.

If they need a proper wet cleaning, then really the best thing is to bite the bullet and have at it with some good microfiber cloths and window cleaner. You really need gloves, as your fingers will be soaked in cleaner and the thin blinds will tear up your tender skin. You can dilute the window cleaner a bit with distilled water.

Buy a steam cleaner. Close the blinds, steam them.
