mieterverband expenses.

Hello all

I am member of mieterverband. I wanted to check if in case i go to court via mieterverband, will the expenses of the court and lawyer be borne by mieterverband or this need to be paid by me.

Um, you're paying them - ask them and they will tell

Nothing is free in Switzerland except the fresh air. You join the Mieterverband and get good advice which would cost you CHF 200 per hour from a lawyer. You go to court, you pay extra. In Switzerland the loser automatically pays all the costs. Unfortunately Judges often work out a compromise and each pays half the costs, resulting in 2 unhappy claimants.
