nonEU permit B holder AND wochenaufenthalter, restriction for purchasing real estate

Dear All,
Although have been reading and benefiting the rich information on this forum for months, this is my first post (total Newbie). Thank you for your help in advance. I have a very particular question and couldn't find any relevant 'old' threads for this:
I am a nonEU permit B holder (8 years in Switzerland, 2 more to go for a C... ahhhh). I am a 'wochenaufenthalter' working in Geneva during week and living (where my family is) in Zürich during weekend. I know for a nonEU B Permit holder you can only purchase apartment for 'primary' housing and I must live there. Would that mean Zürich or Geneva? Or I'll have a problem purchase property in either location? Does anyone have similar experience?

Thank you very much!

Re: nonEU permit B holder AND wochenaufenthalter, restriction for purchasing real est

For the info you have provided so far :

On a B, you need to use this property as your "Primary Dwelling".
You can purchase it anywhere in Switzerland but then you need to live there.
So, can be either Zurich or Geneva.

Now, that this is out of the way, How about an introduction post so we can give you some better suggestions ?
