moving-whom to call to close a loading area in my street?

hello!

i am moving house from kreis 6 to kreis 8 in zurich.

does anyone know who i have to call if i want to close off a part of my street in front of my house to load my stuff onto the van?

You need to visit Stadtpolizei in Kreis 8. They need a few days notice, and will ask for your ID and Permit. Usually they are only open during office hours, so best to phone ahead...

The Police can block parking spaces in the blue and white zone. In this document you will find the contacts to the police station and the prices (from 2009). It's in german, if you don't understand it I can partly translate it.
