bojomania has no particular reputation at present
Furniture stores

Hope I posting in the right place

We are looking for new bedroom furniture and I am looking for some recomendations. We currently have a bed that is rather low to the ground which I hate, we've gone to a few shops and I find that beds in general are quite low to the ground.

Can anyone suggest shops that sell beds that are higher off the ground?

thanks!!

Re: Furniture stores

There is another thread here about low beds. I am a furniture designer and maker so I can help you if you want something made to order. See www.noonwoodwork.com and pm me an email address and I can send a few more photos. Prices are not Ikea but similar to mid range stores here and you can have exactly what you want.

We had the same issue. It was cheaper for us to import a REEEAAALLLLY nice bed from Malaysia, as dumb as that sounds, than to buy a local bed from the local companies. They were low and we didnt like that. My wife prefers box springs etc.

Also, we noticed that in Germany there is alot more variety. If you have to get it in Europe then a company like Moebel Hoefner might be a good deal. They will deliver it to an address in Germany for free. http://www.hoeffner.de/hoeffner/produkte/schlafen.html

You can have them deliver it to the border and pick it up with a truck. Still cheaper than Switzerland.
