You are suppose to have them out 48 hours prior to moving.

You could ask the Red Bull folk - they don't need theirs this year.

Verkehrsbewilligungen

Great!! Thank you all so much for the information!!!

Now, after 20 minutes of looking up police stations on google/google maps with little luck other than admin offices, anyone know where to find a police station?? (near Heuwaage/Bachletten Quartier)?? Uff!

Normally I am pretty independent with these things but......

Thanks!!!

Ittigen included a link to a map of all police stations in Basel, the 4 listed under 24h-Betrieb are open round the clock.

Good luck with the move and be sure to check back afterwards to tell us how it all went with the pylons.

Re: Orange moving pylons (cones) in Basel?

Went and got the pylons this afternoon at the 24 hour police station just past Claraplatz. Absolutely no problems an the police officer was incredibly nice and helpful.

Thank you so much again for all the help!!
By the way, the rent of the pylons cost 5 CHF each with a 20 CHF deposit.

Have a great rest of Sunday!! :-)
