Hi!

Where do I get the orange and white striped pylons (cones) to put on the street with the date and time of a move? I live in central Basel

(I need them for Tuesday, didn't know I needed them before this)....help!

You are suppose to have them out 48 hours prior to moving.

Parkverbotsschilder fürs "Zügeln" (Umzug von Wohn- und Geschäftssitz) müssen 48 Stunden vor dem Zügeltermin gestellt werden und werden gegen ein Depot zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Schilder können bei jedem Polizeiposten bezogen werden.

Now, after 20 minutes of looking up police stations on google/google maps with little luck other than admin offices, anyone know where to find a police station?? (near Heuwaage/Bachletten Quartier)?? Uff!

Ittigen included a link to a map of all police stations in Basel, the 4 listed under 24h-Betrieb are open round the clock.

Went and got the pylons this afternoon at the 24 hour police station just past Claraplatz. Absolutely no problems an the police officer was incredibly nice and helpful.

By the way, the rent of the pylons cost 5 CHF each with a 20 CHF deposit.
