Ikea dishwasher needs new part, can I buy one at Ikea, or do I go to OBI?

Hello!

The filter in my dishwasher (whatever it's called!) is completely clogged and I need a new one. I've tried looking on their website, but all is in German/French/Italian. I even went to the US website to see if there was an option to purchase one there and there isn't. I have no paperwork on the dishwasher since I'm renting.

Any suggestions? I don't want to make the problematic trip over to IKEA if I can't get it there. Is this something I can buy at OBI too?

Thank-you very much!!!

Re: Ikea dishwasher needs new part, can I buy one at Ikea, or do I go to OBI?

In my experience, Ikea doesn't service or have parts for the appliances. Check the brand name of the appliance/dishwasher you have and then contact their service/after sale repair service in CH for the part.

We have Whirlpool appliances from Ikea, and they are serviced by Bauchknecht here in CH as I recall, so when needed a new fridge drawer, had to deal with Baukneckt after sales service. All worked out well.

Edited to add: if it is a generic piece, maybe a OBI or Brico might have, but if specific to the brand appliance you need to go to their service center.
