Any ideas of large bulky garbage disposal in Baselland? Thanks.
If you have a car: http://www.waserag.ch/ec/ Just drive up, weigh your car, take a ticket. Hand ticket over to worker who examines what you're dumping and classifies it. Dump. Drive to other weighbridge, scan your ticket, into the office, hand over money.

I have two stickers and I want to get rid of two chairs in Basel-Stadt. Can I just leave them outside? Or do I need to call somewhere and if yes in which number?

Thanks

Not enough info in your post to be able to accurately guide you. Here's the department to contact over email or phone (contact details are listed on the right-hand-side, and you can ask a German speaker for help, if you can't ask your questions on the phone or over email in German):

Re: How do I dispose of unwanted furniture? (basel)

Hi all,

I just found out so I write it here of anyone interested. For each piece of "kleinsperrgut" you buy one vignette which costs 4.5 chf. Then you let it outside of your house/apartment at the two days per week of trash collection.

Vignettes are sold by msot Pharmacies, migros, coop.
