Re: From Lausanne to Zurich

If it makes you feel any better, I moved from Lausanne to Zurich and...visited two apartments, got offered the first one I saw. That would have never happened in Lausanne. Or even Yverdon or Morges.

I wasn't picky on location and still got a good one with good bus and train connections. Compared to Lausanne, Zurich is a DREAM as long as you keep an open mind on where and size.

And don't let people give you crap about how taxes are cheaper in this or that city, we are ALWAYS winning coming up here from Lausanne.

It was something I was majorly stressing about, being used to Lausanne/Geneva apartment drama. You'll be fine!

Re: From Lausanne to Zurich

Welcome to the Forum.

Your post isn't exactly what I would call an Introduction, being mostly about housing. However, I'll give you this Link which has some great tips on how to improve your chances for getting a flat but please put your future posts in the correct places or I shall be in trouble with my fellow Mods for encouraging you.
