Am new to Zurich and have found an apartment near Friesenbergstation in Kreis 4

I know transport links are good into the city but could anyone please tell me if this is a nice/safe area to live in for a young couple (no kids) ??

I live just down the road - near Binz station. We have been here for nearly a year now and really like the area. We moved from London so being so close to the countryside whilst at the same time being so close to the city center is excellent Here is a quick summary:

Plus:
Very quick (5 mins on S10) into central Zurich
Close to Uetliberg for running, cycling and walking - if you are into outdoor activities.
Food Shopping - a big Coop at Sihl City and big Migros at Brunaupark.

Minus:
Lack of places to hang out - there are not many bars cafes in the immediate vicinity, however with a 5 minute ride into town on the train this is not a problem.

just take it, its really hard to find a flat in Zurich..
