EWZ serves Zurich city, EKZ serves Zurich canton but not Zurich city.

See the following pdf map of EKZ's service area: http://www.ekz.ch/internet/ekz/de/ue...ungsgebiet.pdf

Re: electricity provider

I know that you can buy/change the "green energy" from water/wind/sun because we are receiving this leaflets few time a year but I don't know how to do it because I have never done so.
I'm also interested if someone did that and if they see some saving on that...

Re: electricity provider

No, you can't change your electricity, gas or water provider.

However since deregulation in the UK energy and water prices have gone through the roof. Swiss increases have been few and very modest...

Re: electricity provider

Hi,

I just moved into a new flat and i need to get an ekz contract for the first time ?
I live alone in a small wohnung (1room). Im always careful with not wasting energy so which contract should I ask for when I call them ?
My german is so bad I have headaches when I browse their website.

apparently i have to buy tranches worth 50chf each. How much do I need ? Is it better to under or over estimate ?

Thanks
