Working in Lugano and living in Paradiso: opinion?

Hi everybody,

I have gone through some previous thread but haven't found one that answers this.

A friend is considering moving to Lugano to work and is looking at living in Paradiso. What is your opinion on the area itself? It seems residential, maybe would it be more suitable to a family rather than a single? Might be a bit too boring? Also, how is it from a rent point of view?

It seems not far away from Lugano center and therefore commuting should be easy. Is it so?

Your comments are welcome! thanks for your help

Paradiso is walking distance from Lugano!
