My family and I are seriously thinking of relocating to Switzerland and believe that the best way to make a commitment is to buy property and not waste money on rent.

Could anyone pass on their experience on buying property such as ..ease of buying, how the house prices have increased over the last few years?
Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of? Why is it the majority of Swiss nationals rent and do not buy?
