Garden Furniture

Hi all,

I found some lovely garden furniture on Amazon.De, then worked out that they don't deliver to CH, fantastic!

Anyone know if a decent Internet shop in CH for outdoor furniture? Was after a couple of sun loungers, chimenea, hammock etc.

Cheers

Re: Garden Furniture

I can help you with garden furniture or terrace decking, if you are looking at furniture or decks made in solid wood. If you have an idea of the design, I can make it for you. See http://www.noonwoodwork.com/en/content/lounge for an example. Whilst there is a lot of garden furniture around be a bit cautious of how "outdoors" it really is, there is some great looking and priced teak (some recycled) here. The but is some of it is quite low grade (soft, young wood) so while it is new, stained and oiled it looks great but with the extreems of Swiss climate (more the humidity or lack of in winter) it will expand and contract too much leading to cracking of timber and joints. I am not trying to alarm anyone just er on the side of caution with regards to quality. Please PM me if you need any more information.

RTN, your furniture looks great! I particularily love the outdoor lounge, but it seems that everything you produce starts at CHF 2,000. Do you have any other items for those on a slightly lower budget. Or do you have any 'Aktion'?

What you see are all weather lounges and tables good for 10+ years outside, providing they get a coat of oil once a year. Cushions have been the expensive part to get made here but this year Interio and a couple of other stores are selling cushions separate to the lounges so if you buy them direct (saves me time) then there is some savings there, I will make it to suit the cushion sizes available. If the lounge and/or table is mostly undercover (ie on a balcony) then there are cheaper materials and construction methods available, the look would be similar to the sample below. Send me a pm with your contact details and requirements and I will see what I can do.
