Landlord is selling: Shall I forget about this property??

Hi

The property I would like to rent seems to have an issue: the landlord is selling the whole building (which contain 3 properties). He already has someone interested and is wanting to see if he can close the deal. My question is: if I rent this property through the actual landlord,

1) what happens with my contract? Is it valid anymore?
2) can the price can increase?
3) can the new landlord ask me to go?
4) is it there any law that protects me so I can stay?

The person that wants to buy also wants to rent but not all of them as he will live in one of the apartments. What if he chooses mine???

Shall I forget about this property??

-J

Some info ( in DE ) about the Termination by the Landlord / Kündigung durch den Vermieter:

Beobachter 1

Beobachter 2

Once you know the Canton of your residence, you might want to sign up for a small annual fee ( CHF100 or thereabouts ) with the MV ( http://www.mieterverband.ch/ ) aka Renter´s Association ( they provide legal services and consultations and communicate to you in EN as well ).
