Moving out - V-Zug appliance service - who?

As per our rental contract we need to get our washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher serviced before we hand over the flat. Does anyone know a good company to do this in Zug (Aegeri)?

Just call VZug. You will need to have the FN Number on hand when you call as the machines should be registered with them.

Don't waste your time calling FUST. They won't give you an appointment when you call, they take your details and supposedly call you back, but I waited, heard nothing, called back and they said "we sent you a letter" which arrived on the day they had set the service call. Of course no one was home because the appointment was not known in advance.

I agree with Mrs D. I've tried both firms and found the Vzug appointment system much better and though the Fust people were nice, they had a tendency to propose expensive replacement parts rather than repairs. Either way getting someone to your home is not cheap, I don't remember there being much difference in price between them. However I would always go for the manufacturer's service department, unless the appliance is still under guarantee or if you have several different manufacturers.

Thanks for the replies, there is nothing wrong or broken with our appliances it is just that they need a service as per my rental agreement. I find it all a bit strange as I've never had a washing machine serviced before

Used vzug that Sbrinz posted.

They arrived 3 days after booking, was efficient and actually saved us money by saying we didn't need to replace a part we thought should be (a Swiss first!).

The engineer spoke excellent english and we are very pleased with the work (just waiting for the bill now).

Unfortunately it is also a condition in my contract, but at least my appliances are the same brand as yours, so I don't have to do more research .
I am forced to check dishwasher, tumbler and washingmachine... do you remember how much you paid for it?

Thanks a lot for the info.

You do not have to pay for a service of the appliances!
