Has anyone ever used the Post to send boxes for moving?

I am currently looking for someone for my moving within Switzerland. As most of the stuffs are in boxes, I am wondering if someone has used the service of the post? Means to send the boxes as package; it seems to me to be the cheapest method currently (of course, one has to go to the post office later to collect....). But still one package up to 10kg via B-Post is just 12 CHF...
