What now for housing in Geneva?

With the announced closure of Merck in Geneva, does anyone think there may be an easing in the demand for housing in the Canton? Will rents drop, or is this a drop in the ocean?

A wee drop in a big ocean. Most folks will stick around till at least their RAV period is over and will have likely found a new job long before that. Thus if there is an exodus it will be so slow nobody notices.

Re: What now for housing in Geneva?

I have seen rents come down a little and more availability than when I first got here 5 years ago.

Still strong demand though for quality reasonable priced apartments.
