Re: low profile platform beds

Ciao Ivan,

I've seen these beds but in Geneva, right outside the train station if you go left for a few hundred meters there's a store that specializes in futons. Don't know if they can deliver all the way to Bern though.

By doing some googling I found this other store in Zurich (they look expensive though!) http://www.sato.ch/index.php?Intro

My suggestion is to look for futon stores, they often also sell the platforms for the futons.

Or, if you're super handy and creative, you could build the bed yourself by buying the pieces from some Bricolage store like Jumbo's or Bauhaus. (shrug). Sorry I'm not of much help otherwise...

Online, from Cologne Germany, after payment they will deliver to Bern.

Just Google "Futon Bern"

Shop in Bern http://www.sato.ch/standort-bern.phtml

Re: low profile platform beds

We have one that we have been meaning to put up for sale.

Well, we actually only have the frame now as we sold the tatami rice mats and futon mattress about 2 years ago. We have been using the frame with regular slats and mattresses but have recently bought a new bed frame.

The frame is 2 meters x 2 meters..its a ChikarÓ sato

Please pm me if interested and I can send you pics.

Thanks
Jeanie
