Outdoor Terrace/Balcony light

Apologies again if wrong thread to pose this question.

Can anyone offer any tips / places to look for an outdoor light?

I want something on my balcony, other than dragging my free standing lamps outside, to illuminate the area for occasions such as night BBQ and table tennis when light is failing.

Where can one find such things? Are they pricey? And, as always in this country, are there rules ???

Thanks in advance

P.S. helpful suggestions may find themselves invited for future BBQs and table tennis shenanigans

Any diy place I would think. Jumbo, Migros diy, Coop bricolage, Obi should all have something to suit.

Do you have an electric outlet on your balcony?

Re: Outdoor Terrace/Balcony light

If you have no 230 volt power, go to a camping shop and buy an LED lamp. These are more expensive but are very easy on the batteries.

@JBZ86: If you do and if I can find the one I've got boxed up somewhere, you can have it for free. That assumes I've not already given it away and forgotten that I did.

Will check in cellar over the weekend.

I'm too far for a BBQ invite, but given your neighbah, I say get yourself a disco ball and a spot for it. If nothing else, it makes for a great conversation piece. That or strings of white xmas lights work well on outdoor terraces. I think the ball would be awesome though.
