Lamp repair in Zurich?

I have a chandelier with some broken glass arms that I would like to have replaced. Has anyone had any good experiences with lamp repair people in the Zurich area (or bad experiences to avoid)? Businesses you can recommend?

The electrical in the chandelier is fine, though the lamp repair person would still need the expertise to wire up the replacement arms, so it wouldn't be a purely structural repair.

My preference would be for someone who can do the repair at my home because the chandelier is very large and fragile, and is not easy to move (it got broken in transport in the first place).

Thanks for any suggestions!

Re: Lamp repair in Zurich?

There is a lamp store with an electrician in Bolleystrasse near the university, friends of mine had lamps made there. I use them for all electric repairs and am very happy. They come to my house. Reliable, fast, friendly. Dunno about chandeliers in particular, but if they do it, they would be a good choice. If they don't, they will know who can.

Re: Lamp repair in Zurich?

Thanks so much for the suggestion! Have you found their prices to be pretty reasonable by Zurich standards?

I'll give them a call tomorrow

Yes, they are reasonable for Zurich standards. I live very close, though, so that travel time to my place is very limited which helps.

Good luck!
