Rubbish bin

A question, we pay for a metal bin to put our rubbish in . I have for the last few years been buying "rubbish Stickers " as well.
In Zollikerberg instead of Zuri Sacks you place a Sticker on the bag.

The thought occurred to be today that maybe I do not need to do both ?
Does any one know .

Re: Rubbish bin

Hello CT

Who do you pay for the metal bin? The Gemende or is it a payment toward the running cost of your apartment block/ house?

I would call the Gemeinde on Monday and check with them. Surely you shouldn't be paying them twice for rubbish?

Re: Rubbish bin

if you pay for the bin, you shouldn't need stickers.

Re: Rubbish bin

Often the council demands the stickers to pay for disposing the bag of rubbish. The rental company charges the tenants for the bin to cover the extra costs of disposing of illegal rubbish/waste/trash and generally keeping the place tidy.

You need to ask the person who rents out the apartment to you, and charges you a share of the bin.

Re: Rubbish bin

Check out if the neighbours put stickers on theirs; but only go snooping under cover of darkness...
