Fellow Fribourg residents - a quick question

I've got an oil central heating system and I believe it is supposed to be checked/tested every year. Is this something that is done officially by the canton, i.e. you make an appointment and they send a person around to test it? I have a sheet with test results on it that says the Office for the Protection of the Environment, but I can't find who exactly I'd contact to arrange an official test when I look at the www.fr.ch website.

Or is it the law that the system should be checked/tested every year by a qualified professional and if he says it's fine that's it? No need for cantonal check too?

I'm a bit confused. I got it checked out by a professional last year and there's no problem, but if it's also supposed to be tested by the canton I missed getting that done. I don't want to be in the same situation this year and time's running out.

Re: Fellow Fribourg residents - a quick question

Around here, VD, the official chimney sweep comes round at least once a year to clean the chimney and inspect the oil heating system. He can advise on the installation requirements, emissions, etc. He won't do the work, but in his official report will note that x, y, or z has to be done by a certified heating specialist.

Re: Fellow Fribourg residents - a quick question

Had the chimney sweep around in October and he didn't say anything. Isn't there some sort of emissions test that has to be done every year? That's what I'm thinking of. When I had it serviced last year the guy did a check for emissions and printed out a ticket with all the info on it.
