About Beanbags

Hello everyone,

Recently I moved to a new apartment and looking for a new furniture. I decided to buy few beanbags because they can be easy moved to another place in room, they don't take a lot of space and it feels amazing for me to sit on them, so maybe anyone can recommend any beanbags? I'm looking not for a pillow but something like good looking, comfortable armchair.

Any your opinion would be great for me

Thanks!

I don't think beanbags are a good option anymore (especially if you are a guy). I had to fill beans every 2-3 months and eventually got rid of them.

They look really good but these beanbags are more like big pillows.. I'm looking for something with back where I could lay comfortable and watch TV and etc.

Re: About Beanbags

Try one and see. .. they are extremely comfortable, and very stable, as you sit on them they form a sturdy back to sit or to lie on .

Re: About Beanbags

Another vote for the fatboy beanbag, i bought 2 of them and they are great. They may look like pillows but in use they are not, they give great back support that mold completely to you and great for watching TV (i use mine to play on the xbox with as i can shuffle close to the screen so i dont miss any sneaky snipers )
Only downside i know of, the beans get hot as they are polystyrene.
Apart from that, you cant get more comfortable imo,

oh, getting out isnt too elegant sometimes either

Re: About Beanbags

Have a look at http://www.fettsack.ch/ - no affiliation, just got one "Fettsack Deluxe" from them.

As far as I can tell, they have the best prices around, at quality which appears to be compatible to the well-advertised, nicely-marked-up FatBoy.

Is a "typical" beanbag for you?

You will set very comfortably, albeit rather close to the floor. This may make it difficult to get up and out of these things.

If you are indeed looking for something "with a back", then beanbags are not for you. You can shape a beanbag into having a bag (and they will stay in shape), but beanbags will almost always have the pillow shape. An exception is at the URL I listed at the beginning of this posting.

Re: About Beanbags

I went looking for a cheap supplier for the beanbag filling in Switzerland (I have a beanbag cover that I'd like to use).

Found this supplier locally,
http://www.storoshop.ch/Thermoperlen...FYRQ3god7RIAbA

Price is not bad...

I've also seen these around...
http://www.loungepillow.ch/

http://www.geschenkhexe.ch/sitzsack....FUGR3godp0wAqg

Seems about 200chf is the going price for the large, adult size 'pillow' shaped bags.

mine is much smaller (for kids) - I have one 'teardrop' shape and one 'soccerball' shape.

Re: About Beanbags

I purchased custom-designed beanbags from EF member Martha.

See this thread for more details.

I absolutely love them and highly recommend Martha's services. I chose the fabrics, she crafted the bags then mailed them to me. Very easy!

Re: About Beanbags

I don't know the brand, but I got mine from http://www.moebelkreidler.de/ in Tiengen / Waldshut last year. It is the most amazing, high quality beanbag throne I've ever experienced. Incredible support, luxurious finish. I really can't say enough good things about it!
