| | Re: Second hand in Basel? Furniture etc | Quote: | | | | | There is one second hand furniture in Biningen. Tram 2. I have never been there, but I saw some furniture outside and they were quite nice. Good luck! | | | | |
I went there the other day,
The owner made a price for me on an article. I was enough privileged to speak his native language because otherwise, he told me he will charges me 2x prices as he does for everybody else. I left without buying anything.

The flea markets on the weekend!
There is one in Kleinbasel at Riehenring on a sunday and also one on saturday mornings at Basel University.
Its not like normal flea markets, the majority of their stuff is in really good condition! Take a gander! |

You didn't use enough exclamation marks. You need at least 5 to get a good answer.
Or you could google Brockenhaus Basel and see what you find

It doesn't have to be worded or interpreted as a question.
It's the content that counts.
The title could equally have an exclamation or question mark and be correct.
In FACT* ...... it needs 5 Exclamation or Question marks
*Fact - 5 marks draws attention...... proof - several posts later we still have no other option than the Brockie, but many posts about the (in)correct use of punctuation.

The Fundgrube near the check-out counters at every Ikea can also have some very good deals most of the time, the only issue being it may not have what you are looking for...

As to the original question, try as was said the Brockhaus and look for the Salvation Army store and the Emmaus.
ETA: Oh, and don't forget to check here in the market place. People even give things away.
Good luck.

But I'd say that on here, folk (and Mods!!) add a question mark to imply that the member wants to know where they can get hold of the information or the item. An exclamation mark implies something special or interesting which the member has found out about the article. I don't suppose it matters much, but if you are looking for something it helps if folk don't have to dig too deep to see what it is. At a rough guess many members read the titles and only open the Thread if they are interested or think they can help.
It's not Daily Life really either. The requirement is help and tips.
Housing in General or General/Other would be better places for it.
