Renovation While the Contract is Still Going

Dear all,

Is it possible that we ask the agency to renovate the house while we are still living in it? One of the rommates is going to change, if it helps

Thanks a lot
Best

You can ask, whether the agency/landlord will agree is another matter. What are you calling renovations? Also be aware updating the property might also update your rent iirc.

Re: Renovation While the Contract is Still Going

Thanks. I mean essentially painting. The problem is that I have a lot of thing in house (wardrobes, TV,...) that I'm afraid they want me to put them out in order to renovate

Thanks a lot

Check you contract, but I expect you'll find you're responsible for any decorating you want to do, both cost and time-wise. Just remember that if you change the colour scheme it has to be put back to the original colour when you eventually move out.
