| | Real estate in Switzerland...seriously?
Whilst browsing through www.homegate.ch I came across a link to www.hidas-estates.ch and found a most elaborate presentation of a guest toilet, which made me smile..... http://www.hidas-estates.ch/view/dat...0The%20171.pdf
( scroll down....)
"Stylishly decorated..." 4,100,000. chf.......
Seriously?

The bed sheets look like my ad for a dress I was trying to sell. Except I wasn't asking over 4m for it. What a half assed job of a presentation.

Russian interior design perhaps? The Spa gives it away or maybe the bar.

The couches are sagging, the landscaping is un trimmed, it's possibly the most bland place I have ever seen in Switzerland. Apart from Uni furnished housing.

And the fact that the brochure does not have a single photo of the outside of the building is a bit of a worry, too.

It kind of makes sense with that interior come to think of it.

real estate presentation in general is a bit of a laugh here. most places are presented with pictures i would delete as in category showing off the worst features in the worst possible light. no wonder some places remain on the market over years.

4m francs and they can't find a housekeeper who knows how to make a bed or open an umbrella properly?
I guess it's true what they say: Good help is hard to find.

That is a normal price for a house around here. I know people who paid 4m for an apartment somewhere in the Zug area. And for what it is it seems not overly priced, rather a bargain. |

The drawing on the wall of the guest bed-room reminds me of what Red John used to scribble on the wall with the blood of his victims....

The sleeping pig is hilarious!! I love the pics that people post that are upside down, or on one ad for a flat in Geneva - there was a pic of the front door.
Very nice it was, too.
