How long can my real estate agency take to send me the bill after moving out?

Hello, first time poster and long time reader here....I been searching all arround for an answer to this and im pretty sure ive seen it here somwhere before...

Basically, how long can my real estate agency take to send me the repair bill after moving out?

I was under the impression that if it took more than 30 days then it was invalid, if it is:

is it working days or just 30days counting weekends?
or am i completely wrong?

thx in advance

Completely wrong, I'm afraid. They have up to a year.

Is this something that was found when you went through the handover with the agency? If it's something found then they can take years, though it's unlikely to - after all they'll want their money. If it's something they've found since you did the handover then they're trying it on.
