Picture framers

Can anyone recommend a good picture framer in Zug/Goldau area as one of our pictures fell off the wall, the glass cracked so we need the picture to be dusted to get all glass fragments off it and replacement glass. Thks

I know of one shop in Zug, more or less opposite the Nespresso shop (near the bridge). Don't recall the name though.

Re: Picture framers

Be prepared for sticker shock if you go to a custom framing store. At a local framer I once made the mistake of not asking the price first with a ca. 20cm x 40cm frame and single mat. Simple, nothing fancy... CHF 480.

If your picture is valuable, a custom framer might be worth the price. But for my prints that 'only' have sentimental value... not so much.

Since then I've gone to Hornbach when all that is needed is a simple custom cut frame and single mat - a fraction of the price.

There is a Hornbach in Galgenen SZ, not too far from you.
