Phone enquiries from France: scam or no scam?

Our advert to sell our flat has been up on Anibis for a week or so now and yesterday we received 2 phone enquiries from French phone nos. One just left a message, the 2nd my wife phoned back but the guy said he couldn't speak at the time and to call back the following day.
We've had similar contacts from France, albeit by email, for a previous advert to sell a kid's bed and it stinks of SCAM to me, as it did then, so we probably won't be getting back to them.
Thoughts?

Could always be Swiss trying to return due to problems as frontaliers?

If they're really serious they'll ring again; the bloke who told you to try again the following day had a bit of a cheek, how are you supposed to know if it's convenient for him to speak or not?!
