Looking for a flat in Winterthur

I am looking to move to Winterthur and am not very impressed by the flats I see on property websites. Has anyone tried using an agency to find a flat in Winterthur? I am interested in this idea as I have some specific requirements such as a washing machine in the flat, floor heating etc. and don't want to lose too much time looking.

Re: Looking for a flat in Winterthur

Have not used an agent. Winti has Lots of new builds here, but big block square things. We have tons of space, big terrace, underfloor heating and own laundry, but it's a characterless terraced flat. We like it anyway.

Check out Wülflingen , some new stuff there. There is building and renovation all over the place.

Big new build on schlosstalstrasse (can't remember the name) and check out am Schlossberg on schlossmuehlestr. Also, lots of stuff happening in Hegi (Haegi?) Newer stuff likely to meet your requirements without much charm.

Thanks, I think I prefer charmless and new, having said that the best place I ever had here was old and renovated.
