How to find border of a property

Hi

I think this was answered before.. I've used search with no luck..

Where is the 'repository' that shows the 'border' of a property.. i.e. where a garden starts/finishes.

Is there a search term/path I can use when looking at Gemeinde/Canton website ? (Allschwil, BL)

I think it's something like Grundstueck.. or Stockwerk

Re: How to find border of a property

Property boundary Switzerland

For information about terrains in Kanton Basel:

GIS BASEL

(Trying to find out where you can write the cadastral number to get to a specific terrain, but this one is even worse than the one of St. Gallen... BRB)

EDIT: Found it... It's on the top left corner, just under the logo: you can write down your cadastral number and it gives you the overview from your land. Good thing is: it has English available. Bad thing is, it's hard to find more complicated information as Building Zones and other stuff, but I guess if you dig deep enough, you'll get what you need.

Go through the forum thread I linked to get some more info.

GIS : Geo Information System
Katasterplan or Amtliche Vermessung.

For Canton of Basel Stadt see link by Helm.

For Canton of Basel Land see (This one is not in English):

The Gemeinde Bauamt keeps records. Also, on my property, there are stones and metal stamps that mark the boundaries. You probably have one too that may be buried.
