Is your freezer going to be in your kitchen?

I ask because although we have a separate freezer - it's in another room and we find the freezer compartment in the fridge really useful for a few things that get used regularly.
I think most people with both probably do the same sort of thing - thus the combined fridge/freezer units.

No, it'll be downstairs in the cellar or laundry room.
We're kind of gradually coming round to the idea of having a fridge freezer as described above. Mrs G. isn't bothered whether we have freezer space or no, she just wants more fridge space .

If you are picking something with a freezer section anyway, I would recommend a french door refridgerator over the model you showed.
http://www.samsung.com/de/consumer/h...RF24HSESBSR/EG

Here the freezer section is at the bottom in drawers while the refridgerator sits on top at a comfortable height. That way you do not have to crouch in front of your refridgerator to grab ome veggies.

This one has a compact ice-maker you are looking for, inside a fridge instead of a freezer. These designs appear modular, and might be configurable. It may be worth contacting Samsung to see if they can configure something for you.
